Can’t wait to see OBX on the big screen!

In 1903 on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the brothers changed history by successfully flying the first heavier-than-air-powered machine that carried a pilot.

22nd Annual Producers Guild Awards - Backstage And AudienceIt puts two-time Pulitzer Prize winner McCullough back with HBO for the third time, and for the second with Playtone, which exec produced John Adams, the miniseries that starred Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney. HBO also turned McCullough’s Truman into a telepic that starred Gary Sinise as Harry Truman.

  1. Woohoo! I can hardly wait too! I love the monument to a century of flight, And the poem by John McGee “High Flight” on the granite monument brought tears to my eyes. Maybe that he died during an air battle shortly after writing the poem did it. Maybe I just love the humanity in any story. 🙂
