Romance Writers Weekly “Would you Rather?”

RWWLogo

Today on the Romance Writers Weekly blog hop, Jenna DaSie asks, “Would you rather?”

journey_to_mars1) Would you rather go way back in time and meet your ancestors Pre 1800’s or go way into the future and meet your great grandchildren Post 2200?

Knowing something about my ancestry, I’d rather go to the future. Will my decedents still be on Earth or will space travel have evolved to take us to other realms. On the dark side, they might be living a Terminator Salvation existence. Judging from the way people have been acting in the last few years it’ll be a John Conner world and I don’t believe it will be the machines’ fault, but a breakdown in civilized society as a whole.

2) Would you rather have no internet or no cell phone?  Can’t live without the ability to research at home as well as Amazon deliveries.

3) Would you rather talk like Yoda or breathe like Darth Vador?  I’m claustrophobic so Yoda, but I do love Darth’s cape.

4) Would you rather have the ability to fly or read minds? Fly Me to the Moon, baby!

5) Would you rather have mermaids be real or unicorns be real? You’d think mermaid since I love the beach. However it’d be the coolest to ride a unicorn along the beach. Even more cool, to fly on a Pegasus.

That’s all for me. Hope you’ve visited Brenda Margriet and will next check  out Fiona Riplee to see what they’d rather…

Lasagna

Sauce

¼ cup olive oil or enough to cover large sauce pan

4 cans tomato paste

1 cans whole tomatoes

6 garlic cloves peeled

Oregano or Italian seasoning to taste

1 tsp salt

In large sauce pan heat olive oil and add garlic cloves and cook until slightly brown. Extract cloves and add tomato paste. Let paste fry in oil for a couple of minutes and add 2 cans of water while stirring. Add can of whole tomatoes and season to taste.  Simmer on low for three hours.  I usually transfer to the slow cooker.

Lasagna

1 lb Mozzarella cheese

1 lb Ricotta cheese

2 eggs

1 lb Italian Sausage Links (mild)

Romano cheese grated

Lasagna noodles

Parsley flakes

Fry Italian sausages let cool and break apart.

In large bowl mix all of ricotta cheese, eggs and parsley

Partially cook lasagna noodles

In large glass baking dish (I use a 10X15) spoon a light layer of sauce and then a layer of noodles. Next layer sauce on top along with some sausage meat. Then a layer of mozzarella and top with even spoonfuls of ricotta mixture.  Add some grated Romano and repeat layer process until pan is full with last layer of sauce, meat and cheese on top.

Bake at 350. Bake 30 minutes and check. Continue to cook until hot all the way through and mozzarella is melted/

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Pop on over to Jenna Da Sie and see what she’s cooking.
