Today I’m interviewing Sarah Heggar’s hero of Nobody’s Angel for Tasty Book Tours.

Meet Richard Hunter, a local doctor in the town of Willow Park. His first met his love interest, Lucy Flint, nine years ago when she was chatting to his, then, girlfriend. They fell madly in love, she’s broken his heart and left town. Now, she’s back and Richard is struggling.

What’s the one thing you’d never tell your lover?

There’s nothing I wouldn’t tell Lucy. There’s been far too much hurt between us as it is. One thing I don’t think she really gets, I mean she gets it, but doesn’t get it, is how deeply the first time I saw her is imprinted on me. It’s like the whole world stopped in that moment, and there was only her.

I never got over her. Never forgot a single thing about her.

What’s one thing your lover or potential lover can do to totally turn you on?

The way she moves like she’s got ZZ Top “Legs” as her personal soundtrack.

Do you rely on your physical prowess or your intelligence to attract a lover? I like being fit, but as a doctor, I value brains over brawn every time.

What’s something you’ve done that could have landed you in prison? Lucy nearly got me tossed in prison a couple of times. Bar fights, that sort of thing. She was wild when she was younger and always dragging me into that shit with her.

Who’s your best buddy? What do you guys do when bromancing? Probably my brother, Josh. He’s an arrogant son of a bitch with his fancy clothes and his slick car, but he’s always got my back. He’s easy to hang out with. Thinks he can beat me at the Iron Man.

Is there a specific body type, hair, or eye color that attracts you? Once I met Lucy, that’s kind of it for me. She had this short, kick ass hair when I met her. It’s long now and sometimes it hides those killer green eyes from me. Blonde, tall and stacked with attitude. And man, those legs. They go on forever.

What do you believe is your most attractive feature? Seriously? Never gave it too much thought. Girls like a doctor, right? My brother Josh, he’s the family pretty boy. You might want to ask him this one. He’s probably got a list.

How do you stay fit? I’m in training for an Iron Man triathlon. That’s a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bicycle ride and a marathon 26.2-mile, raced in that order and without a break. I’m beginning to wonder what the hell I was thinking.

Name your most comfy article of clothing? My old sweat pants. Nothing better after a workout and a hot shower. I’m not a snappy dresser, as long as it fits and it’s clean. Again, Josh is your best man for this.

A favorite piece of clothing to remove from your lover? Just about anything that hides that kick ass body from me.

If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be? I wouldn’t get married. It thought I loved Ashley, but it was always Lucy for me. And I wish my dad had lived a few years more. He adored Lucy, he would be so proud of the woman she’s become and so happy she’s back.
