Simple is best for a challenged cook like me. So here’s my favorite candy with with my favorite cookie.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

1/2 c butter

1/2 c creamy peanut butter

1/2 c sugar

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla

1 1/4 c flour

3/4 tsp baking soda

Bag of Reese’s mini cups

Mix all ingredients except the Reeses cups. Make balls of the cookie dough and place in ungreased mini cupcake pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Unwrap Reese cups while cookie is baking. When cookies are done immediately press one candy cup into the center of each while still in pan. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before removing. Recipe makes about 40-45 cookies.
