Game On! is a short story I’m serving up on Weekend Writing Warriors for #8Sunday. Heath is a semi-pro football player in town for the season. He meets Jordan, a teacher with obvious trust issues, who proposes a sexual game. In this week’s snippet, they’ve had dinner and Heath has asked Jordan if she’d like to see a game. “The Triton’s or ours?” She pressed her pale frosted toes against his crotch.
“Are you ready for the check sir?” their server asked appearing out of nowhere.
“Anything else, darlin?” he asked as a muscle worked on the side of his jaw.
“Totally satisfied.” Jordan eased her foot up the ridge of his erection and let her spoon ting against the dessert plate.
“As much as I’m enjoying your massage, we’re going to have to walk out of here soon.”
Jordan bubbled over in laughter.
“That’s the first time I’ve seen you laugh,” he said racing a hand up the inside of her calf.
Propping her chin on her hand, she said, “It’s been a while since I’ve found anything amusing.”
