Game On! Who are You? #8Sunday

Game On! is my short story I’m serving up on Weekend Writing Warriors for #8Sunday. A semi-pro football player meets a reserved teacher who intrigues him with an offer to play a sexual game. In this week’s eight, Jordan and Heath are having brunch in a small cafe where she’s a regular. She’s just found out he’s on the area’s new semi-pro football team. Her deer in the headlights expression morphs into a you lying shit glare. “When were you going to tell me?”

“By the look I’m getting now?” He adjusted in his seat. “Never,” he said doubting he’d get a reprieve.

“So, is your buddy, Dugan, on the team as well?” she asked crossing her arms.

He nodded and raised his hands in surrender, before asking, “Do you have something against football players?”

“No, only people who try to hide their real identity.” She ground out as she unrolled her napkin.

Fantastic storyline, sensuous, bold, and captivating are only a few of the words to describe this book!!! I would have kept on reading no matter how long it took to read, but wished it had not ended so soon. I would love to read any sequels with the characters in it. I can not wait to read more from this author. I love a mix of love, sensuality, and paranormal!!

Game On! An Omission #8Sunday

Game On! is my short story in process that I’m serving up on Weekend Writing Warriors for #8Sunday. A semi-pro football player meets a reserved teacher who intrigues him on their first date with an offer to play a sexual game. In this week’s eight, Jordan introduces Heath to the owner of the small cafe where they are having brunch. Both of them are surprised.

“I’m new to the area,” Heath hedged answering the owner.

“Yep, and the same face I’ve seen on the Tidewater Triton’s website. Read they have you practicing as tight-end,” Reggie said wearing a gold-toothed grin.

Heath froze and glanced to Jordan, who sat across from him round eyed. “A fan of the team, already?” he asked hoping for a diversion.

“I’ve got season tickets and with the strike going on you guys might be the only football this season. Good luck to you, Heath,” Reggie replied and left to place their orders.

Jordan’s deer in the headlights expression morphed into a you lying shit glare.
