Game On! Riled Up #8Sunday

Game On! is my short story in process that I’m serving up on Weekend Writing Warriors for #8Sunday. A semi-pro football player meets a reserved teacher who intrigues him with an offer to play a sexual game. Heath quickly realizes he interested in more than a game with her.

Trident_by_Rones“We have similar taste in music,” she smiled, noticing his Tidewater Triton’s football tee. A football fan, and obviously already aware of the area’s new team.

“How about Nickleback?” he asked.

She noticed him checking out her short jean skirt and clingy scoop neck tee and said, “His voice is like sex.”

Heath visibly swallowed, and replied, “Noted, how about something to eat?”

She arched a brow.

Clearing his throat, after his unintended innuendo, he teased, “Bad girl, you’re trying to get me all riled up.”

Even through his tan, she caught his blush. Touché.
